Motherhood Dissolved
My writing on child loss, continuing bonds, identity, and learning to live with grief and love.

Rooted in Love, Memory, and Lived Experience
This work grew from my own experience of child loss and my need to find ways to stay connected to my son, Carter, while learning how to live again.
Through writing, making, nature, breathwork, and grief support, I began to understand that grief was not something I had to overcome. It was love that needed somewhere to go.
Now, through memorial jewelry, creative workshops, and gentle grief coaching, I offer spaces where others can remember, create, and feel less alone in what they carry.

After the death of your child, life can feel unrecognizable.
You may feel lost in your own life, unsure who you are now, or overwhelmed by the loneliness of carrying a grief many people do not know how to talk about.
As a bereaved mother, I understand how child loss can reshape your identity, your relationships, your future, and your sense of belonging in the world.
Together, we work to create space for your grief, your love, and your connection with your child.
A Space Where Child Loss is Understood

About Me

I'm Danielle Mock, a jeweler, grief coach, educator, and bereaved mother.
When my son Carter died of bone cancer at age ten, I didn’t just lose my child. I lost my identity, my purpose, my health, and my sense of belonging in the world. As the mother of an only child, I also faced the deep disorientation of not knowing who I was anymore or how to keep living inside a life that no longer made sense.
For years, I felt adrift, isolated, and unsure if it was possible to rebuild a life that could feel meaningful again.
Slowly, one small step at a time, I began to find my footing. Through therapy, creativity, grief coaching, nervous system regulation, movement, Reiki, microdosing, and learning to say yes to life again, I discovered that healing did not mean moving on from Carter. It meant learning how to carry my grief, my love, and my connection to him as I continued to live.
That journey is the foundation of my work as a coach.
Today, I support bereaved mothers who feel lost after child loss and are beginning to ask, How do I live now? Together, we create space for your grief, your love, and your continuing bond with your child while taking small, meaningful steps toward rebuilding a life you can live in again.
My background includes a certification from the International Coaching Federation & Institute of Professional Grief Coaching, a Master's degree in Education, work in Internal Family Systems (IFS), microdosing courses, experience with cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and certified reiki practitioner.
Memorial Jewelry

When someone we love dies, the love does not end. But sometimes we need new ways to carry it.
Memorial jewelry can become one of those ways. A small, meaningful piece that holds memory, connection, and love close to the body. A name, a word, a phrase, a bit of ash, a lock of hair, or another small keepsake can become something you can reach for when you miss them.
This work includes custom memorial pieces, private make-with-me experiences, and group workshops where grievers can remember, create, and feel supported.
Each piece is created with tenderness and care, and with deep respect for the love it represents.
Workshops
Grief can feel incredibly isolating. Sometimes it helps to be in a room with others who understand that love and loss can live side by side.
My workshops offer gentle, creative spaces for grievers to remember their loved ones, reflect through simple writing prompts, and create a meaningful piece of jewelry or art connected to memory, love, and continuing bonds.
These workshops are not about fixing grief or moving on. They are about making space for remembrance, connection, and the love that still remains.
Sharing is always optional. You are welcome to speak, listen, create, or simply be present in whatever way feels right for you.
